After a research published in Israeli Journal of Justice and Occupation suggested that the answer to stone pelting were pellet guns, the episode has taken a new turn in India.

Sources at India’s premier space agency ISRO say that a new mission has been inducted to study kinetics and aerodynamics of stones thrown by protesters in Kashmir.

Stone throwing has been a major problem for Indian security forces in Kashmir as well as Israel. After a study published in Israeli Journal of Justice and Occupation sugggested the solution, pellet guns were introduced – that make the whole crowd injured, blind or dead – as per conditions.

“Pellet guns are very efficient – in the sense they use very low amount of iron and have low carbon footprints as compared to real bullets – they are easy in manufacturing and help us save environment. Pellet guns are also more justified because they do not differentiate on the basis of color, caste, age or gender” An army Major, speaking on the conditions of anonymity, told Times of Britain.

ISRO scientist have reached parts of Kashmir and have released beautiful photographs showing stones at terminal velocity.
