Renowned Indian journalist Ravish Kumar has been nominated for Victoria Cross (VC) – the highest and most prestigious award of the British honours system.
The citation for award mentions his “courageous” and “unwavering bihari style”.
Kumar, 44, who is NDTV India’s senior executive editor known as India’s most influential TV journalists.
The prime minister of Britain Mr. Borris Jhonson congratulated Mr. Kumar on his twitter handle as seen below.
Kumar’s “Prime Time” programme “deals with real-life, under-reported problems of ordinary people”, the citation added.
